Rage Against the Machine earned acclaim from disenfranchised fans (and not insignificant derision from critics) for their bombastic, fiercely polemical music, which brewed sloganeering leftist rants against corporate America, cultural imperialism, and government oppression into a Molotov cocktail of punk, hip-hop, and thrash.
It seemed it would never happen. When Rage Against The Machine went on indefinite hiatus about seven years ago, the chances of seeing them together again seemed slim; word was that internal strife had ravaged band chemistry. Well, it ain't no Bulls(h*t) On Parade - Zach de la Rocha, Tom Morello, Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk are reuniting to play the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (AKA Coachella). This year, Coachella takes place on the last weekend in April and thus far constitutes the entirety of the Rage Reunion. So a one show reunion - and if they get along, who knows, maybe we'll see more.
